Heavenly, Alabama. Population: 13,000 people. This town was literally heaven for the baby boomers just starting their little families. Now, it is a sprawling town with a public school, mall, movie theater and its own drama.
It was started by Terrence Howard back in 1887, who had moved to a a little piece of land. His wife, Mary Thomas Howard, was a very religious woman. She ruled the roost, in her opinion and anyone who objected was quickly silenced by a sharp slap to the jaw.
Mary T. Howard decided to name their little paradise the most appropriate name she could think off, Heavenly.
Mary and Terrence lived their lives on this land. They raised their families, and eventually more families bought land next to them. The Howards, Matthews, and Tates were the original founders of the town today.
The date is 2010. The town has been around for over 100 years. The Howards still run the town. The Matthews rule the school. And the Tates are the rebels. The new families here just accept that they started the school, and they always will. The only problem now?
New people have arrived, trying to disturb their little paradise.
